Vice Chair at Welsh Rowing
City of Swansea & Llandaff RC.
I am Vice Chair at Welsh Rowing (working at the Cabinet Office by day). I began rowing at Swansea university, took a break & have been competing for the last 20 years: HWR, HMR, Nat Vets, Euro Masters, and FISA World Masters. Currently a member at City of Swansea and Llandaff Rowing Clubs.
I love to push physical and mental boundaries: fund-raising triathlons & 10ks, completing a PhD whilst working full-time, Boston Marathon, power lifting at the gym, rowing Loch Lomond on a British Tour, and half marathons this year for MNDA.
I supported GB as a 2012 Gamesmaker, at the World Cup in Dorney, went to Rio and bought Lou Reeve’s kit on eBay!
I umpire and coach (including adaptive-worked with an ex-serviceman and helped him get gold and silver at Invictus Games Florida 2016) and I’m looking forward to passing on the love of my sport as we go along the Kafue River.
